Horticulture Unlimited co-founder Dawn Fried is currently writing a new book titled "The Art of Southwest Landscaping." Her book will include topics such as plant diseases, irrigation, pruning techniques and how to successfully grow citrus trees, roses and other plants in the Southwest. The book will feature full-color photographs and information about landscaping in the Southwest.
The book will also explain how to grow wildflowers, irrigation system installation, landscape design concepts, landscape maintenance and more. This new book includes photographs of trees, shrubs, ground covers and accent plants that can be grown in Arizona, Mexico and regions of the Sonoran Desert. Dawn expects her new book to be published this year.

The Southern Arizona Home Builders Association (SAHBA) invites you to attend Tucson's largest home & patio show this spring. The event takes place at the Tucson Convention Center beginning April 9, 2010. Admission is $8. Half price for ages 50 and over on Friday, April 9th. Children 12 and under attend free!
