Dalea greggii

Trailing Indigo Bush Photo Description: Trailing Indigo Bush forms low, wide mounds to 2 feet tall by 8 feet wide. In low deserts the small silvery-gray leaves are persistent throughout the winter, and provide year-round interest. Dense clusters of small rose-purple flowers appear in the spring and summer.

Maintenance: Trailing Indigo Bush will survive on only 11 inches of annual rainfall, but will be more lush and dense if given some supplemental water in the spring and summer. Dalea greggii should be planted in full sun and well-drained soil. It requires very little maintenance.
