| Description: Hop Bush is a fast-growing shrub with an upright, branching habit that reaches a height of 12-15 feet, with willow-like leaves that are 4" in length. Its foliage is bronzy-green in color, which turns a reddish-purple shade in the fall and winter. Holds up well in alkaline soils. The winged fuit is reminiscent of the true hops from which beer is made, hence the name.
