| Description: This ground cover is a star performer in the arid Southwest. Plant Damianita near entries or outdoor living areas where you can best enjoy it's long blooming season and fragrant foliage. Golden yellow, daisylike flowers are small--about 1/2 inch across. The bright green, needlelike leaves create a nice contrast to the flowers. This plant has a long bloom period, but flowers are most profuse in the spring and fall. Grows at a moderate rate to 2 feet high and as wide.
Maintenance: Damianita requires little water and low maintenance once it is established. This Mexican native is both drought-hardy and cold-hardy. Does best in full sun. Mass individual plants together for a continuous ground cover. |
